Insulbrick
Insulbrick consists of a fiberboard sheathing coated with tar and an embedded granular material. The surface is usually embossed and colored to look like brick or stone. Landings for stair
A minimum 3’ by 3’ landing should be provided in front of an entrance door. Some jurisdictions allow a landing to be omitted where there are 3 risers or fewer for secondary entrances. However, this is not a considered as good practice. |

Guard and handrails
Guard is required if the floor of the deck, porch or balcony is more than 24” ~30” above grade. 1 handrail is required on stair more than 3 risers. 2 handrails are required on stair with more than 3 risers and width more than 44” |
